5 BEST AND BEAUTIFUL CANADA CITIES

Do you want to know which Canadian cities are the best? We've put up a list of stunning Canadian cities, so stop searching. Most people associate Canada with its huge open spaces, national parks, and wonderful outdoors, but the country also boasts some unique metropolitan areas.

We've travelled all throughout our country over the years, so we've put up a list of the top Canadian cities to assist you determine where to start when organising your vacation.

Everyone loves their hometown, so I'm sure we'll draw some criticism, but we thought this was a great experiment to see what people thought of our stunning Canadian city. Are you prepared to begin?

Best Canadian Cities

1. Ottawa, Ontario

You probably expected Toronto to be our top Canadian city, but Ottawa, Ontario, is actually our favourite. What appeals to us about Ottawa? A little town vibe permeates the city.

Canada's capital city, Ottawa, offers much more than just the Parliament Buildings, which are eminently visible from Parliament Hill. In addition to being stunning, Ottawa, which is situated on the Rideau Canal and the Ottawa River, offers a wide variety of activities. Ottawa, like other capital towns, is home to some excellent museums, including the exciting Canadian Aviation and Space Museum and the fascinating Diefenbunker. 2. Toronto, Ontario

We are a little biassed when it comes to The 6ix because Toronto is where we were born and raised. (Or the T-Dot or Hogtown; Toronto goes by many names, depending on your generation.) With good cause, Toronto frequently ranks at the top of rankings of the best cities in the world. The largest city in Canada, Toronto, has everything a person might desire from a global metropolis.

3. Halifax, Newfoundland

One of the cheeriest cities in Canada is unquestionably Halifax. You'll feel perfectly at home in Halifax because Nova Scotians are among the friendliest Canadians. Halifax is known for its wild parties and is said to have more bars per resident than any other Canadian city.

4. British Columbia's Vancouver

Undoubtedly, the hippest city in Canada is Vancouver. In the 1990s, Dave and I lived in Vancouver, and we've since visited several times. But it wasn't until our most recent visit, in 2021, that we truly realised what an incredible Canadian city it had become. Vancouver is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities in Canada. It has long valued the outdoors and the environment. 

5. Quebec City, Quebec

Only two cities in North America have been designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and Quebec City is one of them. Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America, with its ancient city walls dating back to 1608. It is situated on the St. Lawrence River.
